These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between the Client ("you") and ABC-Translation Services, a registered sole proprietorship operating in the Province of Manitoba, Canada.
Use of the website https://abc-translationservices.ca and all related services constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
1. General Provisions
1.1. These Terms apply to all translation services provided through abc-translationservices.ca.
1.2. "ABC-Translation Services" is a registered business name under the Manitoba Business Names Registration Act.
1.3. "ABC-Translation Services" is a registered trademark. Registration No. TMA 1291990, registered on February 17, 2025.
1.4. The business is operated by a qualified translator registered as a sole proprietor in Manitoba.
1.5. By placing an order, using the website, or accessing delivered translations, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
1.6. If acting on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have full authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
1.7. Our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and other published policies are integral parts of these Terms.
1.8. Completion of the checkout process, including payment, constitutes acceptance of this Service Agreement.
2. Start of Translation Work
2.1. Work begins after payment is received and clear, legible document scans are uploaded.
2.2. If higher-quality scans are required, the start time will be adjusted to when acceptable files are received.
2.3. All communication with the translator is conducted via email or secure messaging through the website.
3. Personal Account
3.1. Clients may register on the website to manage their translation orders.
3.2. Registration requires providing accurate contact information and creating a secure password.
3.3. Password resets are available through email verification.
3.4. Completed translations may be delivered through:
- Secure download link in the client account
- Email attachment
- Postal mail (additional postage fees apply)
4. Ordering Process
4.1. To place an order:
a) Select the required translation service
b) Upload the source document (PDF or JPG preferred)
c) Register or log in to your account
d) Complete secure online payment via Stripe (credit card)
e) Receive confirmation and delivery instructions by email
4.2. Clients must ensure uploaded documents are readable and complete.
5. Pricing
5.1. All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
5.2. As a small supplier under CRA rules, we are not registered for GST/HST.
5.3. Upon request, we can issue official invoices for accounting or submission purposes.
6. Website Services
6.1. We strive to maintain reliable website functionality and address technical issues promptly.
6.2. Client feedback may be shared publicly unless marked confidential or inappropriate.
6.3. Questions about translation quality, process, or requirements can be submitted before ordering.
7. Limitations
7.1. Third-party services (e.g., Stripe, email providers) may have additional terms governing their use.
7.2. Users must be at least 16 years old to use this service.
8. Refund Policy
8.1. If a client cannot download the delivered file, we will provide an alternative download link.
8.2. Refund eligibility and conditions are outlined in our Refund Policy, available on the website.
9. Privacy & Data Security
9.1. We comply with applicable privacy legislation, including PIPEDA and Manitoba privacy laws.
9.2. Personal and document data are collected solely for completing translation orders.
9.3. Files are stored securely and deleted after 90 days unless retention is requested.
9.4. No third parties access your documents.
